My feet look like the earth

My feet look like the earth

I am not sure how they shaped this way

They did not look like this

At birth

My legs look like the trees

I love how they support me

They are long and strong

They carry my weight

with ease

My hips look like a Volcano

Every now and then, I burst

I can’t explain that tendency

It is a kind of thirst

My eyes look like a lake

You can drown and see your mirror there

Discover where you are truthful

Discover where you are fake

My heart looks like the sky

It is blue and grey

It is vast and open

It’s the space in which

my love can fly

And if I ever cry

My eyes, the lake, will overflow

teardrops flow down my feet

They irrigate and nourish the earth

And that is how I will grow
